Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PVLTRA S.L. uses cookies and similar technologies on its website, why they are used and how you can manage them.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process and protect personal data.

1. Controller

The website operator and controller responsible for processing associated with the use of cookies is:

PVLTRA S.L.
Tax identification number: B26681981
Registered office: Calle Lepanto, 270 Bajos, 08013 Barcelona, Spain
Email: comercial@pvltra.com

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small information files stored in a user’s browser or device when they visit a website.

They may be used to:

  • Ensure the website functions correctly.
  • Maintain security.
  • Remember certain preferences.
  • Store choices made through a cookie-preference panel.
  • Obtain information about website usage where analytics tools have been authorised.

In this policy, the term “cookies” may also include similar technologies, such as browser local storage, pixels, tags, device identifiers or scripts, where they perform an equivalent function.

3. What types of cookies are there?

Cookies may be classified using different criteria.

According to who manages them

First-party cookies: cookies installed or managed directly by PVLTRA through its website.

Third-party cookies: cookies installed or managed by external providers that supply services such as analytics, embedded content, advertising or external integrations.

According to their duration

Session cookies: cookies that disappear when the browser is closed.

Persistent cookies: cookies that remain stored for a defined period or until the user deletes them.

According to their purpose

Technical or necessary cookies: cookies that enable website operation, security, navigation and privacy-preference management.

Preference cookies: cookies that remember settings such as language or display preferences.

Analytics cookies: cookies used to obtain aggregated information about how the website is used and to improve its performance.

Marketing cookies: cookies used to analyse interests, measure campaigns or display personalised advertising.

PVLTRA currently uses only the technologies expressly identified in the following section.

4. Cookies currently used

PVLTRA’s website currently uses only one first-party, strictly necessary technology to remember cookie-related preferences.

NameProviderTypePurposeDuration
pvltra_cookie_consent_v1PVLTRAFirst-party and necessaryStores the user’s cookie configuration or decision so that it does not have to be requested again on every visit.12 months

This technology is not used to:

  • Analyse browsing behaviour.
  • Create user profiles.
  • Measure advertising campaigns.
  • Display personalised advertising.
  • Track users across other websites.
  • Share information with advertising networks.

It does not directly contain information such as the visitor’s name, email address, company or telephone number.

The name, duration and operation of this technology must match its actual technical implementation. Where it is stored through localStorage rather than a conventional cookie, it should remain covered by this policy as a “similar technology” and be described accordingly.

5. Cookies we do not currently use

As of the date shown at the beginning of this policy, PVLTRA does not use:

  • Google Analytics or other analytics cookies.
  • Facebook, LinkedIn or other advertising pixels.
  • Remarketing cookies.
  • Personalised-advertising cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Non-essential third-party functionality cookies.
  • Tools used to create commercial profiles based on browsing activity.

The website must therefore not install these technologies either before or after a user interaction.

If PVLTRA introduces any of these tools in the future:

  • This policy will be updated.
  • Non-essential cookies will be blocked by default.
  • Consent will be requested before they are installed.
  • Users will be able to accept, reject or configure them by category.
  • Withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it.

6. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are used to enable website operation and manage preferences requested by the user.

They do not require consent where they are essential to provide a service expressly requested by the user or to enable a necessary technical function.

Analytics, non-essential preference, advertising and non-essential third-party cookies will only be used with the user’s prior consent where legally required.

7. Consent management

The only technology currently used by PVLTRA is technical and necessary.

If optional categories are introduced in the future, the preference panel will allow users to:

  • Accept all optional cookies.
  • Reject all optional cookies.
  • Configure each category separately.
  • Withdraw or amend consent later.

The accept and reject options must be displayed with equivalent prominence and ease of use.

The “Cookie settings” control must reopen the preference panel without requiring users to manually delete browser cookies.

8. Third-party content and services

The website may contain links to external services, such as LinkedIn. A conventional link does not necessarily cause those services to install cookies on PVLTRA’s website.

Where external content is embedded directly into the website —for example videos, maps, calendars, external forms or media players— those providers may install their own cookies.

Where those cookies are not strictly necessary:

  • The external content will be blocked by default.
  • Users will be informed about the provider and purpose.
  • The content will only load after the relevant consent has been obtained.

Cookies installed directly on external websites visited by users are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the respective providers.

9. Managing cookies through your browser

You can also allow, block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain website features from working correctly or prevent your preferences from being remembered.

The precise steps depend on the browser used. They can normally be found in sections named:

  • Privacy and security.
  • Cookies and site data.
  • Site permissions.
  • Clear browsing data.

Deleting the technology that stores your consent choice may cause the website to request your preferences again during a later visit.

10. International transfers

PVLTRA does not currently carry out international data transfers through analytics or advertising cookies because these categories are not used.

If providers located outside the European Economic Area are introduced, users will be informed about:

  • The identity of the provider.
  • The destination country.
  • The purpose of processing.
  • The safeguards applied.
  • The duration of the cookies.
  • The mechanism used to legitimise the transfer, where required.

11. Personal data and your rights

Where cookies or similar technologies involve the processing of personal data, you may exercise the rights recognised under data protection legislation, including:

  • Access.
  • Rectification.
  • Erasure.
  • Objection.
  • Restriction.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdrawal of consent.

Detailed information is available in our Privacy Policy, or you may contact:

comercial@pvltra.com

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe your rights have been infringed.

12. Updates to this policy

PVLTRA may update this Cookie Policy where:

  • The cookies or technologies used change.
  • New providers are introduced.
  • Purposes or retention periods change.
  • The website is modified.
  • Legal requirements or regulatory guidance change.

The current version will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.

Where new cookies requiring consent are introduced, they will not be activated until the user has been given the opportunity to make an informed choice.
